Larry Driskill Homes – Home Description
2918 111th Street / Cooper Ridge

This Energy Star™ certified home offers its owners both high performance and practical luxury. To enhance overall performance, the house was designed and built as a system. Key elements of this systematic approach to building include spray foam insulation; efficient windows; control of air infiltration; energy efficient appliances and lighting; proper ventilation; and a carefully designed, sized and installed heating and cooling system.

Arranged around an open floor plan, this exceptional home offers practical conveniences and a welcoming environment. The layout of the kitchen, dining area and living room lends a family oriented quality to the center of the home.

Amenities not normally found in homes in this price range include a pull down third row hanging rod in the master closet; a doorless walk-in shower; structured wiring for communications and data; an oversized garage; and a high efficiency direct-vent gas fireplace.

This is Larry Driskill’s second consecutive year for building ‘Green’ in the Parade. This home was designed and constructed utilizing the National Home Builders Association’s Green Building Guidelines. Green built homes are energy efficient, high performance homes that incorporate environmental considerations into the building process. Green building is a great defense against soaring energy costs and also offers improved indoor air quality and water efficiency. The drought tolerant landscaping follows West Texas SmartScape® guidelines.
